2024 Family Camp: Avary for the Whole Family

A weekend full of laughter, play and deep connections...

Avary Family Camp is a special opportunity for our youth participants to invite their family members to join in the Avary experience together. Incarceration impacts all family members and our entire community shares this unique bond, finding strength together. 

This retreat embodied all that is Avary, from outdoor adventures to fire circles, with a truly special caregiver healing circle. We went on nature hikes, played sports and games, crafted and created, visited with furry friends, and held a hilariously epic Avary 'Un-Talent Show'. Taking the time to have fun and making the space to share feelings paves pathways to healing and growth.
